1st Line defense - To camouflage the trail and pheromones released by the ants from finding their natural habitat, nest and sub nest.

2nd Line defense - To repel ants and to dehydrate their abdominal gland which will shrink their colony.

3rd Line defense - To suppress and decrease ant population.
